I do Apologize to all that received the recent Newsletter
The Newsletter introducing the New 2012 ASC dolls was sent out in error 'unfinished' due to a mistake of me clicking on the wrong button while working on my Newsletter. The letter was still in the draft mode and without pictures or complete information. Again I do apologize for the inconvenience and am trying to fix the problem and reissue the newsletter if possible. Thank you for your understanding. Susan
Note: The
majority the dolls have soft bodies and all Newborn style dolls have
soft arms and legs unless otherwise stated. A good way to determine
the characteristic of the arms, legs and body is by viewing the outfit
the doll wears. For the arms, if the sleeves are short showing the
arms, then the arms are either 3/4 or full vinyl- if the outfit covers
the arm it is probably a soft arm with 1/4 vinyl hands - if the belly
is showing the doll is either full vinyl or has a breast
plate. Newborns and infants styles the same applies for the legs. All
Toddlers have full vinyl legs for standing. Note: Middleton
ASC dolls are designed for adult collectors, and have not been tested
to meet the child safety standards for young children. The overall
structure is not harmful for children, but the clothing is less durable
and dolls usually have many small delicate embellishments that could be
a choking hazard for small children. Thus they bear the label 'Not a
toy, for artful display'.
