We have Three
body styles to select from -
 The Numbles body has 1/4 vinyl arms and
legs with slightly larger features, and open hands with thumb raised to fit in an open mouth. Recommended for faces Num Num, and Happy although it can be used with any doll. Body is weighted in the 'tush' for sitting and to give that normal baby feel when holding. The arms and legs are weighted also giving realism to the feel of the doll. Body is firm enough to support head, but soft enough to be cuddly. The arms and legs are jointed at the shoulders and hips for perfect mobility.
 The Sleepy body has 1/4 vinyl arms and legs, closed hands slightly smaller than Numbles. Body
is weighted in the 'tush' for sitting and to give that normal baby feel
when holding. The arms and legs are weighted also giving realism to
the feel of the doll. Body is firm enough to support head, but soft
enough to be cuddly. The arms and legs are jointed at shoulders and hips for perfect mobility. Recommended for any of the dolls except Num Num.
 The Bunny body is 3/4 vinyl arms and legs and more on the
petite side with smaller hands and feet. Appropriate for any doll you are planning on dressing in short sleeves or short pant outfits. The body is weighted in the 'tush' for sitting and to give that normal baby feel when holding. Vinyl limbs are slightly weighted. The arms and legs are jointed at shoulders and hips for perfect mobility. Dolls with 3/4 vinyl limbs are great for designing a doll to represent an older child with longer hair.
All bodies are stuffed with Polyester fiberfill and weighted with our especially made pouches of Poly-Pellets Polypropylene weighting beads. The body slips are made of cotton and limbs are attached to the body with plastic cable ties. Please note: When given to a child for play- the dolls should be inspected ever so often for any loose seams or loose joints. Note: stuffing and weighting beads could pose a choking hazard for small children and pets.
Skin tones available are light, light-medium and Dk- medium. Light is a natural light skin tone (Caucasian) and the vinyl is softer than the Medium skin tones.
Light-Medium lends itself to a darker completion and could fit many skin colors. From dark tan, to Latin, Asian, to light African American. Vinyl is very firm.
Dk Medium is also a firm vinyl and lends itself to a African American skin tone. The Dk Medium is in short supply, you may want to check with me prior to ordering Dark skin tone. Note: Skin Colors are not exact. Color chart is shown to show the degree of shade difference in the three shades. Colors do not always display the same on all computer screens.
Hair: There are a variety of hair styles to select from. Amazing how different a hair style can change the appearance of a face. Wigs are glued onto the dolls head with 'supper glue' which holds through many hair combs and tugs. The quality of these synthetic wigs is excellent making the hair easy to comb and style. Not all wigs are available in all hair shades, so be sure to check the information in the description to make sure your favorite hair style comes in the color needed.
 You will asked if your doll is a Girl or Boy and will be dressed according. They will come without shoes. You may also order the doll without an outfit and dress her/him yourself in 0-3 months real baby clothes. The body style 'Bunny' fits all the Middleton Doll clothes for 19"- 20" Newborn dolls. Bodies Numbles and Sleepy can only wear the two piece outfits due to their longer body and legs. Also all dolls come wearing a diaper. Just in Case they haven't been potty trained yet.
Many Doll Expressions are shown with a sample picture helping you to get a better idea of how they might look wigged and dressed. A number of customers have been able to match one of our doll expressions to a picture of their own child and by adding a similar wig can design a -just like me doll.
