What is my Middleton doll worth now? I am asked this question very often. It is a fair question, but difficult to answer.  Today's value is based on the popularity of the artist, edition size including the number of dolls in circulation at this time, condition of the doll & original clothes, including ASC box and contents.  And most of all the deciding factor is - What the doll is Worth to You or what another person is willing to pay to have the doll.
To set the best value on your doll, it is best to first know the original information on the doll.

There are two good ways to find information on older Lee Middleton dolls, purchase (click on picture) the Price Guide book show here written in 2000 by Larry Koon of over 247 Middleton dolls or to is to visit 'My Collection' a Lee Middleton Doll Company sponsored site.  It seems that just about all the dolls Lee Middleton Doll company has manufactured are listed. There are various ways to look up dolls, by name, by artist, by date, by face, by series and by picture.  The information you will receive on the site is: Artist Name, Introduction Date, Face, Edition size, Original Price and if it is part or a series.
Secondly, evaluate your doll as to the condition the doll is in at this time. Check to see if all the accessories, original box, certificate, Bible, etc. are going to be sold with the doll. If not that would be a minus to the value.
Thirdly, do an on line search to see if the doll is still available from a Middleton dealer or selling on Ebay. There you can get an idea of what the market value is.  If you do not find your doll anywhere on the internet, then you have a very special doll and the value can be establish by you.  At that point I would start with at least the original value.  In my opinion Middleton Dolls or any Collectible Doll, if in the original condition, is worth at least as much as it was originally, but as I have stated before a collectible is only worth what someone is willing to pay.
Note: Lee Middleton Doll Company does not set collectible values on their dolls.
