Wigs and Hair Colors
These
top quality Monique wigs are pretty true to the description name
color. Computer monitors have a great deal of variation in how the
show colors hope these description help with your hair color decision. The
infant style wigs for the 21 to 20 inch dolls comes with fairly long
hair. The hair can be cut and thinned to a more reasonable newborn
state. Most cases I leave the hair long on the girl dolls, and cut a
little shorter for boy dolls. The wigs for the 10 and 17 inch dolls
comes thinner and shorter. Cutting or thinning is not needed, but it
does give the baby a full head of hair. The wigs comes with tags that
say they can be washed with cold water and mild soap and air dried. So
if your baby gets food in their hair and quick rinse would be fine. I
would not suggest emerging the dolls head or water will get inside the
head and it could cause mold. Hair can be styled by damping and curling
the hair with a clip and let it air dry. The wigs are super glued on -
if you need repair try super glue.
Colors
1- Black- is black
4- Dark Brown - is a very dark brown color- Brown/black
12- Brown -is a dark rich color of brown
8 - Chestnut Brown - is a dark brown with a slight reddish brown cast.
8A- Golden Brown - is brown mixed with golden highlights.- lighter than regular brown
33T- Auburn - Dark brown blended with red. A deep true auburn.
33T- Carrot Red - Now I would call this a Copper Red- it isn't as orange as a carrot. -very pretty bright color.
27C - light Ginger - a more subdued lighter red- it is actually carrot (33T) blended with blonde (20)
11- Light Ginger Golden Blonde- is the light ginger blended with golden blonde (25A)
19- Strawberry Blonde - Dark Blonde with red highlights - with a little golden blonde blended in.
20- Blonde - is a dark blonde usually referred to as 'dirty blonde' or 'dishwater blonde' could also be used as light brown
25A- Golden Blonde- is blonde with golden highlights - lighter than regular Blonde (20)
27D- Sunburst - is golden blonde with a hint of red blended in.
3- Pale Blonde Pale- is a blend of blonde (20) and pale blonde (613)
613- Pale Blonde - is a light blonde with a hint of yellow
